The Gellish project has as purpose to enhance theGellish Modeling Method for the semantic modeling of knowledge and information and the Open Source Gellish English language with its smart Gellish English Dictionary (earlier called STEPlib) and other variants of Gellish in various natural languages, such as Gellish Nederlands. The related Gellish Information Management Method is based on this modeling method and language. The project also aims to develop documentation and guidance on how to create Facility Information Models (FIMs), Building Information Models (BIMs), Product Models, etc, as well as Domain Dictionaries, Object Libraries, Knowledge libraries and Requirements models, all as applications of the Gellish language. The project also develops guidelines for the creation and use of (certified) Gellish enabled software tools and Gellish Databases, the integration of data from different sources and the exchange of Gellish messages between systems in a neutral and system independent way. Furthermore the project describes how Gellish databases can be automatically translated by Gellish enabled software from one natural language to another so that facts that are expressed in one language, for example English, can be presented to users in other languages, such as Dutch, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Arabian language, German, etc.
